Eve Arden (April 30, 1908 – November 12, 1990). Her 60-year career she performed in many supporting and leading roles.

ReplyDeleteDawn, I have always just adored Eve Arden. She lights up the screen with every movie she is in, with her wisecracking, delivered so perfectly. And she was a lovely woman! And apparently very wise -- it's so true we all would like to be gorgeous, but also true that so many of them led unhappy lives.
