Michael at I Shoot The Pictures started this 5th round of our game. The object of Round 5 is to connect Asta the dog (also known as Skippy) with Desmond Llewellyn. Great one, Michael!

Page connected Asta to Topper Takes A Trip with Billie Burke.

ClassicBecky connected Billie Burke to A Bill of Divorcement with John Barrymore.

Classicfilmboy, connected John Barrymore to Grand Hotel with Joan Crawford.

I'm going to connect Joan Crawford to When Ladies Meet with Robert Taylor.

I will pass the game onto Kim over at  1001 Movies Blogspot.

Six Degrees of Separation Game,

Sorry that I took so long... Update for those following the Six Degrees Of Separation game begun by Page from, My Love Of Old Hollywood. Dorian, from Tales Of The Easily Distracted, solved for Carole Lombard to Goldie Hawn and picked Myrna Loy and Danny Kaye for the next challenge. Dorian, also picked Laura over at BackLots who solved for Myrna Loy and Danny Kaye, in less than six films.

Laura, selected Judy Garland and Olivia De Havilland for the next round, which brings us to, Whistlingypsy to play the game.

Whistlingypsy, chose the film, Every Sunday (1936), which teamed Judy with Deanna Durbin. Whistlingypsy, selected Dawn at Noir and Chick Flicks to carry the game forward with her selection featuring Deanna.

I chose Deanna Durbin who performed in the film, One Hundred Men and a Girl (1937), with Adolphe Menjou, who played her father.

I select Rachel from: MacGuffin Films, to carry the game forward. Macguffinmovies.wordpress.com

Classic Films...Six Degrees of Separation Game

The object of the game is to connect Mabel Normand with Walter Matthau. Dave the Movie Guy chose: Mabel Normand, who was in the film Head Over Heels (1922) with Adolphe Menjou.

Dave sent the game on to Becky, and she chose: Adolphe Menjou, who was in the film, Paths of Glory (1957) with Kirk Douglas.

Now it's my turn and I chose: Kirk Douglas, in the film, Lonely are the Brave (1962), with Gena Rowlands. (Walter plays the sheriff in the film, Lonely Are The Brave. But.. I wanted the game to continue). I'm passing the game onto Page from: My Love of Old Hollywood.

Page chose: Gena Rowlands and Rock Hudson in the film: The Spiral Road (1962). Page passed the game onto Priscilla of Reel Revival.

Priscilla chose: Rock Hudson and Burl Ives, also in the film, The Spiral Road (1962). Priscilla passed the game onto Vincent of Carole and Co.

Finishing the game, Vincent chose: Burl Ives and Matthau who were both in the film, "Ensign Pulver" (1964).

Finishing the game, Vincent gets to start a new one. As you might guess, he chose Carole Lombard to connect with Goldie Hawn. Vincent passed the game onto Caftan Woman.
