Article of the week is from: Classic Movie Chat. In Hollywood films there are either actors or stars — seldom does the twain meet. There were a few exceptions, of course, and one was Ingrid Bergman.

Hello, everybody. Joe Morella and Frank Segers, your classic movie guys, here to stage a small celebration of Bergman, the actress AND the star. Please click on link to learn more.

 Have a great weekend!

  1. I was excited to discover that of all the Barbara Stanwyck films they will be showing that day, 5 of them I have never seen. MY DVR is set!!

My mom always said her claim to fame was that she shared her May 29th birthday with Bob Hope and President Kennedy. So, now, whenever I think of my mom's birthday, I always think of both those guys as well.

Hope you're off to a great Friday!

  2. Me too.. I'm going to try and catch a few "new to me" Barbara Stanwyck films.

I'm also looking forward to seeing the film classic, Outcast Lady(1934).

That is pretty neat.. that your mom celebrates her birthday with, Bob Hope and President Kennedy.

  3. Wow a lot of birthdays. I am really interested in Babs movies for that day!

  4. I know.. a whole day for, Barbara Stanwyck! Awesome!
