Barbara is so identified with one iconic character that it often isn't realized what a terrific comedic actress she is. Unfortunately, the late '50s and early '60s wasn't a good period for actresses to become stars (as opposed to "leading ladies") in comedy unless your name was Doris Day, so thankfully TV gave Barbara the career success she certainly deserved.
Barbara, always seemed to be a very talented classy lady. I Dream of Jeannie, was one of my favorite TV shows growing up. I would have loved to have seen her more in movies.
What are some of the movies that Barbara was in? I'd love to see some. I will admit, I was never a huge fan of I Dream of Jeannie, but it would be nice to see her in something out of that area. At least she got her time on the small screen.
