Happy Birthday: Kim Novak!(born February 13, 1933). Who is a film and television actress. She began her career with her roles in, Pushover and Phffft! (both 1954) but she became better known in the 1955 film Picnic. She also performed in the films, The Man with the Golden Arm (1955), The Eddy Duchin Story (1956), Pal Joey (1957), and Bell, Book and Candle (1958). She is best known for her dual role as Judy/Madeleine in the 1958 Alfred Hitchcock film Vertigo. Please click Here for more info.

ON TCM Feb. 18th. Camille (1936)A romantic drama film based on the 1852 novel and play La Dame aux Camélias by Alexandre Dumas, fils. The film stars Greta Garbo, Robert Taylor, Lionel Barrymore, Elizabeth Allan, Jessie Ralph, Henry Daniell, and Laura Hope Crews. Please click Here for review.


Happy Birthday: Lee Marvin.(February 19, 1924 – August 29, 1987) . Film actor known for his gravelly voice, white hair and 6' 2" stature, Marvin at first did supporting roles, mostly villains, soldiers and other hardboiled characters, but after winning an Academy Award for Best Actor for his dual roles in Cat Ballou (1965), he landed leading roles.




ON TCM Feb. 19th. The Razor's Edge. Is the first film version of W. Somerset Maugham's 1944 novel. It was released in 1946 and stars Tyrone Power, Gene Tierney, John Payne, Anne Baxter, Clifton Webb, Herbert Marshall, supporting cast Lucile Watson, Frank Latimore and Elsa Lanchester. Marshall plays Somerset Maugham. The film was directed by Edmund Goulding. Please click Here for review.
