THIS WEEK on NOIR and CHICK FLICKS


This weeks feature on: NOIR CHICK FLICKS AT THE MOVIES: A HOLE IN THE HEAD (1959). Cast: Frank Sinatra, Edward G. Robinson, and Eleanor Parker. Plot: Tony Manetta runs a Miami hotel, on which he can't meet the payments. His other problem is his weakness for dames. Look for review on the CHICK FLICKS home page. I replaced This weeks at the movies, with the film: Sitting on the Moon (1936) a wonderful performance for stars Roger Pryor and Grace Bradley, cast as songwriter Danny West and fading movie star Polly Blair.

Enchanted April (1991), which was reviewed last month on THE CAFE by Toto, will be shown on TCM on Friday, December 18th.

I'm really looking forward to seeing the movie YOUNG VICTORIA (2009). In theaters friday, Dec.18th.
