THE GREAT O'MALLEY (1937) Cast: Pat O'Brien, Sybil Jason and Humphrey Bogart. Officer O'Malley writes up a ticket for John Phillips on a small traffic violation and costs him a chance at a first job he has had in a long time. Phillips has a family, his only daughter is crippled, he becomes desperate and commits robbery. O'Malley sends him to prison. O'Malley saves a crippled girls life and soon learns that she is Johns daughter and becomes closer to Phillips' family. A very touching story..
