Janet Leigh July 6th Birthday tribute on TCM


Fearless Fagan (1952).When a circus clown is drafted, he tries to sneak his pet lion into the service. Cast: Carleton Carpenter, Janet Leigh, Keenan Wynn. Dir: Stanley Donen.



My Sister Eileen (1955). (The only movie I have seen in, Janet Leigh, birthday tribute line up). Two sisters from Ohio, one pretty, one witty, plot to take New York City by storm. Cast: Betty Garrett, Janet Leigh, Jack Lemmon. Dir: Richard Quine.



In this movie Fosse, was given the job of choreography for an entire movie, he came up with "The Competition Dance", a wonderful dance number. The movie is worth seeing just to hear Jack Lemmon's number, "It's Bigger Than Both of Us".

 

Safari (1956). While leading a wealthy couple on safari, a hunter tries to avenge his son's murder. Cast: Victor Mature, Janet Leigh, John Justin. Dir: Terence Young.



Vikings, The (1958). Viking half-brothers fight over a throne and a beautiful captive. Cast: Kirk Douglas, Tony Curtis, Janet Leigh. Dir: Richard Fleischer.



Who Was That Lady? (1960). A cheating husband convinces his wife his flirtations are actually spy missions. Cast: Tony Curtis, Janet Leigh, Dean Martin. Dir: George Sidney.



American Dream, An (1966). A man suspected of murdering his wife has to elude the police and a gang of hoodlums. Cast: Stuart Whitman, Janet Leigh, Eleanor Parker. Dir: Robert Gist.



Three on a Couch (1966). When a psychiatrist refuses to marry until her patients are cured, her fiance sets out to do the job himself. Cast: Jerry Lewis, Janet Leigh, Mary Ann Mobley. Dir: Jerry Lewis.
