Sandra Bullock gave my favorite speech of the night. The best-actress winner had everyone laughing and even made her husband, Jesse James, get a little misty. "Did I really earn this or did I just wear you all down?” she said as she walked on stage. It wasn't the only laugh she got from the audience, she also gave a heart-tugging, thank-you to her mother.
I think Jeff Bridges maybe one of the under appreciated great actors of our time. I'm so glad he won an Oscar for Best Actor - Crazy Heart . He is known for his relaxed, natural performance style, Bridges has been an A-list leading man for over four decades without ever a box-office winner.
