DAMSEL IN DISTRESS (1937). Cast: Fred Astaire, Joan Fontaine, George Burns, and Gracie Allen. Tues. Feb 16th. Based on his novel of the same name, music and lyrics by George and Ira Gershwin. Please check Noir and Chick Flick musical page after the 16th for review.


THE CROWD (1928). Silent film. Thurs. Feb.18th. Director King Vidor. Cast: Eleanor Boardman. Best known for its dramatization of the concerns of urbanization and modernity.


LOVE ME OR LEAVE ME (1955)Fri. Feb.19th. Biographical film which tells the life story of Ruth Etting, a singer who rose from dancer to movie star. Cast: Doris Day, James Cagney. Please check Noir and Chick Flicks Doris Day page for review.
