This weeks feature on: NOIR CHICK FLICKS AT THE MOVIES:THAT LADY IN ERMINE (1948). Cast: BETTY GRABLE, DOUGLAS FAIRBANKS JR. and CESAR ROMERO. Look for review on the BETTY GRABLE page. I replaced This weeks at the movies, with the film: A HOLE IN THE HEAD (1959). Cast: Frank Sinatra, Edward G. Robinson, and Eleanor Parker. Plot: Tony Manetta runs a Miami hotel, on which he can't meet the payments. His other problem is his weakness for dames.

You know I can not let a Goldie Hawn movie get past me.:)
Cactus Flower (1969). Thur. Dec,10th Cast: Goldie Hawn, Ingrid Bergman and Matthau . Check local listings to confirm show times. Plot: A dentist pretends to be married to avoid commitment, but when he falls for his girlfriend and proposes, he has his nurse pose as his wife.
Don't laugh..but, I have a dentist appointment the same day ..:)

Have a great week at the movies. :)

  1. Dawn, I have seen Cactus Flower and love it. The three leads, Hawn, Bergman, and Matthau give great performances. I love the outfits of the late 60's. I remember people wearing them when I was a little girl. I was in kindergarten when this film was made. I want to watch this film again. It is so funny.
